Registration will be at Haycraft from 8-9:45am.
Long Course (9.5 miles) to start from Haycraft at 10am.
Short Couse (4.5 miles) to start from Papalaua at approximately 10:15am. (4.5 miles)
Race finish to be at Olowalu with awards ceremony to follow on the beach.
Channel to exit ocean by old pier will be marked. See below map.
All canoes to pass between finish buoy and recording boat (follow black circles on map). Then head to shore between the channel marker buoys and you will be directed where to come ashore. Please be careful if surf conditions are up.
Race Director's Suggestions:
Short Course: shoot way outside and try not to cut the corner as the reef is incredibly
s h a l l o w between grandma's and olowalu.
Long Course: take it easy, don't blow up too early as its gonna be a long hot race.
